Kay International is not a new name in the market for high-end industrial air blowers in India. Our operations started way back in 1966 when we first began manufacturing twin lobe rotary air blowers.
Over the years our business expanded and so did the number of competitors in the industry. Kay International was focused on being the leader and we have always maintained the highest quality standards.

Over the years we have developed and refined our air blower and compressor lines to cater to standard air or natural gas applications as well as application in the cases of hazardous and explosive gases. We have a wide range of twin lobe blowers and tri lobe blowers that cater to these industrial processes.
Kay manufactures some of the most highly regarded blowers in India. Our blower designs are created through elaborate research and development on CAD/CAM software to lend precision to every product line. In fact, our blower designs have earned many laurels for their innovative and qualitative nature not just in India but also abroad.

KAY INTERNATIONAL LIMITED was founded by the present Chairman
Cum Managing Director Mr.K.L.Arora, who was one of the early forerunners
of India’s post-independence breed of entrepreneur professionals. He identified
an import substitution opportunity and ventured into the manufacturing of KAY rotary twin/tri lobe compressors (Root Blowers).
KAY began its operations in a small, rented, tin roofed shed with a work force of
two employees and the following objectives to provide the Indian industry with
the Roots variety of compressors, which until then were all being purchased fromthe overseas markets: |

Under the Leadership of Mr. K.L.Arora, KAY witnessed a sea-change & today comprises of a work force of 310 employees consisting of highly skilled workmen & well experienced technicians & engineers, who carry forward the key objectives set forth by Mr. K.L.Arora. Our Plant at Sonepat, Haryana is spread in 20,000 square yards and is equipped with highly modernized mother machines, which are either imported or from reputed Indian machine manufacturers like HMT. |

Principle of Operation |
|
A KAY Rotary Twin/Tri Lobe Compressor (Roots Blowers) is a positively displacement, constant volume machine which operates against varying pressure. The Two “8” shaped impellers (involute design) which are mounted on parallel shafts, rotate in opposite direction and with every movement of the impeller across the compressor inlet, a definite volume of air is trapped and carried across the casing to the compressor outlet where this air is discharged. With a constant speed operation, the displaced volume is essentially the same at a constant pressure, temperature or barometric pressure. Increasing the speed of the KAY compressor against a constant pressure increases the volume of air delivery. The timing gears fitted in a KAY compressor control the relative position of the impellers to one another and maintain small but definite clearances. This allows operation without the need for lubrication inside the air casing |
