This series covers the blowers from 1833AC to 2266AC.
2KHC series is the high capacity series. In 2KHC 2 stands for twin lobe, K for KAY and HC for high capacity.
Series covers only air cooled blowers.
Capacity for 2KH series ranges from 250m3/hr to 9500m3/hr with pressure application from 2800mmwg (0.28kg/cm2) to 12600mmwg (1.26kg/cm2).
Capacity for 2KHC series ranges from 20000m3/hr to 57000m3/hr with pressure application from 1408mmwg (0.14kg/cm2) to 7042mmwg (0.70kg/cm2).
5 bearing with shaft roller bearing is well suited for V-belt as well as direct coupled drive.
2KHC series is the series of high capacity blowers and is applicable where large quantity of air is required with pressure. (Up to .70kg/cm2).
SMaterial of construction of the casing for all blowers in this series is C.I.F.G.-260 conforming to IS: 210.
Impellers and Shaft are made of SG iron and separate forged shaft duly precision machined is shrink fitted.accurately machined for close tolerance operation .S.G. Iron/Forged steel material is used for better strength and longer life.
If used as an exhaust and dust or liquids could be drawn into the machine due to inadequate filtration, closed end rotors should be specified. This will minimize the risk of loss of dynamic balance due to material inside the rotor.
